Bridge to Terabithia Art

Reflection

....This is an image from the movie Bridge to Terabithia.  I think it relates to my tapestry theme IMAGINATION because the movie's theme is very much the same. In the movie a young girl moves in next door to a boy.  They would go exploring together in a forest nearby until the boy would go to school and then the girl would go alone.  One day the girl finds a mystical land where there were magical creatures. When she showed the boy this place he did not see it.  It took the boy a while to realise how to use his imagination to find this place she was talking about.  Eventually they go together to this mystical world.  Similar to Wintergirls, when the young girl ends up dying, the boy finds it difficult to move on.  Because of his little sister and the use of his IMAGINATION, he goes on with his life and finds new ways to experience the wonders he missed so much.

I think the story behind the movie tells us to never forget to use our imaginations; you may find some place wonderful, if you can just open your mind....
