IMAGINATION
The purpose of my tapestry is to show how imagination can be both good and bad for you. Imagination can force you to think outside the box, and it can allow you to be very creative, but it can also allow you to drift. Using imagination you can force yourself to look ahead and create better situations for yourself. When living with your imagination, you can choose to live with your past in the back seat and live in a place you love to be in. I hope to create an effect that draws the reader's attention, something that allows the reader to think outside the box and be more creative. Here are some questions for the reader...
When you were little and used your imagination, what were you pretending?
Have you ever been to the moon?
When you were pretending did you wish that it was really you doing those things?
When you dream at night is it your imagination that is taking you places?
Where are these places and what makes them special?
When a child uses there imagination, they are creating a place where they can be safe or somewhere they can have an adventure. Imagination is used to open your mind.
What is it about a child's imagination that intrigues you most?
Is it there ability to think up the magical places and people they dream of?
