... In the end, I believe that a world without imagination would be a very sad one. Living with a vivid imagination, like Willy Wonka from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, can allow you to visit magical and wonderful worlds and give you opportunity to learn to be a more creative person. Throughout my tapestry, I have found that much of children's media, like Dr. Suess' The Cat in the Hat, and the movie Ferngully: The Last Rainforest, is based mainly upon creativity and imagination. It was very difficult to find anything that really attracts adults in the same ways though. Even though adults don't use imagination as much as children, I think that every person's brain requires the use of some form of creativity.
"The man who has no imagination, Has no wings."- Muhammad Ali
I think that I have met my goals effectively, but I still have some unanswered questions that the reader(s) could help me to answer...
One: When you dream at night is it your imagination that is taking you places?
Where are these places and what makes them special?
Two: What is it about a child's imagination that intrigues you most?
Is it there ability to think up the magical places and people they dream of?
And Three: Why is it that someone as small and inexperienced as a child can put themselves in magical places with the use of only there imaginations, while adults find it so difficult?
As a final thing to think about, I would like you, the reader, to imagine yourself in a place that you believe to be the BEST place in the entire universe. It can be made up or an actual place you love, but no matter where it is, I would like you to keep that place as a reminder of how everyone, no matter how big or small, should have the ability to use there imagination whenever and wherever needed.
